GATES OF HEAVEN

Heaven's gates were opened wide

The day Melissa stepped inside,

All the family who'd gone before

Welcomed her thru Heaven's door.

Nanny Great and Grampa Great

Aunts' Betty and JeJe were at the gate,

But Choci was the one she knew

And into her loving arms she flew!

Choci held her close and soothed her fears

For she'd been there for two long years,

She told her together they would wait

To welcome us at Heaven's gate.

When our time comes to leave this life

We know we'll leave behind the strife,

And forever blest we will be

To once more embrace our family.
