I'm not able to forget
My angel in the sky,
The way she touched my heart
And why each day I cry.

The joy she brought to me,
The heavenly sound her laughter made
When she bounced upon my knee.

The twinkle in her eye,
When she called out "Where's my Gram"
Each time that she stopped by.

I'm not able to forget
Her beautiful loving smile,
The one that for 16 years
Made my life worthwhile.

And I pray I never will,
For my heart broke into pieces
The day her heart grew still.

Don't ask me to forget

All I have left are treasured memories
