Happy Crafting

Angel crafting has been a large part of my life. I have made hundreds of Angels... of every type and style...and from every material. Mostly, I give them to friends, but I have sold a huge amount at craft fairs. Local babies have my Angels hanging over their beds...some in NICU's, where an "Angel's Touch" was much needed.

One grandmother once asked for a third one... the first was buried with her 10 day old granddaughter, the second hangs over her second granddaughter's crib, and the third...over her bed (to watch over her precious granddaughter when she stays with Grandma!)

My preemie granddaughter Ashlee's was with her during her 102 day stay in NICU... and still hangs in her room 13 years later!!

~~My Guardian Angel~~

Cut a 10 inch piece of center gathered lace. This lace has a string in the center... pull both sides gathering the lace very tightly. Tie a double knot and cut the string. Hot glue a pom-pom in the center of the top gather. Add a pipe cleaner halo of silver or gold. I use irridescent ribbon for the wings. Cut a 3 inch piece and twist it in the center for the wings, cutting the edges at an angle. Hot glue in place on back of Angel. Glue a small flower of your color choice at the front neckline. I use fishline for the hangar, making a loop at the back of the neck.

Give it to your favorite little ANGEL!!!

I hope you enjoy making this Angel as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you.

Angel Hugz,

Gram
